Mitch grew up down under in Sydney, Australia where from a young age he aspired to be a physiotherapist. He completed his Bachelors in Exercise Physiology at the University of NSW before going on to complete his Doctorate of Physiotherapy at Macquarie University. During his studies he practiced as an Exercise Physiologist in a rheumatology multidisciplinary clinic and as a sports trainer for a semi-professional rugby union club.
Following graduation, Mitch relocated to the United Kingdom working in London as a Clinical and Research Physiotherapist with Queen Mary University of London with a specialisation in tendon management. He then practiced in a private clinic in Edinburgh, Scotland again focusing on sports and tendon management utilising shockwave therapy.
Mitch has furthered his education with courses in Explain PainTM, Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) sports injury management (Sydney FC), soft tissue mobilization and musculoskeletal diagnostic ultrasound. Mitch aims to complete his training in Vestibular rehabilitation in 2025.
Mitch’s treatment style heavily focuses on keeping people active while maximizing their recovery. It isn’t about stopping activity but modifying what you do in order to recover and maintain function. Utilising education, specific exercise prescription and adjuncts (e.g. IMS), Mitch while keep you growing in the presence of pain.
Mitch and his wife Taylor welcomed their first human child; Madelyn in October of 2024 to accompany their fur baby, a 2yo beagle named Molly. Mitch is an avid traveler, spending most of his free time with his wife traveling the world having recently eloped in the Dolomites in the north of Italy and spending Christmas with his family in England. He has a particular fondness for burgers and coffee and will likely check out any recommendation given to him. Bill is a 1983 graduate from the University of Alberta. After graduation he worked in a number of public settings in Edmonton until 1990 when he and his family immigrated to Australia to study for his masters certificate in Perth, Australia. During this time he worked with a wide variety of patients ranging from world champion athletes to professional ballet dancers and everything in between. After moving back to Canada in 1994 he settled in Kelowna and founded with his business partner a multidisciplinary clinic employing some 39 people which eventually became a Lifemark clinic.
During this time he also became a certified Canadian Orthopaedic clinical instructor/lecturer. As time progressed he has continued to add certifications and expertises in things like ims, medical exercise, etc The end result is a unique treatment approach that has allowed resolution of problems that may have failed with other therapies.
Bill received his graduate diploma of Manual and Manipulative therapy in 1995 which is now designated as a fellow in canadian academy manipulative physiotherapy (Fcampt). “Vinny” is the owner of Vinny and Associates Physiotherapy. He has embraced the Okanagan lifestyle along with his wife and children since 2014. He’s an avid coffee drinker, a sometimes-golfer, communitarian, mental health advocate, and an actor for TV and film.
Vince is an advanced trained, manipulative, musculoskeletal Physical Therapist. He is an established clinician with special interest in Temporomandibular Joint dysfunction, orofacial pain, neck disorders, and headache. He has expertise in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, IMS, chronic pain, functional rehabilitation, and exercise management. He has served as Chair of the National Orthopaedic Division, Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and has over 20 years of Board level experience. He currently serves as the President and Okanagan Director for the Physiotherapy Association of BC, Board of Directors. He is a Clinical Educator in the UBC Faculty of Medicine, Southern Medical Program, and Department of Physical Therapy.

Throughout his career, Vince’s caseload has consisted primarily of TMJ disorder, headache, neck and spinal dysfunction. His treatment style emphasizes manual therapy, exercise, and education, along with adjunctive techniques such as IMS. He has been fortunate to collaborate and mentor in an environment with multiple rehab specialists, chronic pain physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, dentists, orthodontists, and oral surgeons. Michael was born in Wales and graduated from the West Middlesex Hospital (London) in physiotherapy in 1976 . He emigrated to Canada in 1979 . He worked in the Janeway Children’s hospital in Newfoundland for a year before going back to university to gain his Bachelors degree from Dalhousie University. He moved the west coast shortly after and has worked in North Vancouver thereafter, except for a year spent on exchange to New Zealand. He has studied extensively in the field or orthopaedic sciences and returned to the University of Alberta to gain his certification in medical acupuncture (CME) in 2002. He has worked and studied with some of the best orthopaedic therapists in North America. Michael has owned five separate outpatient orthopaedic practises in his nearly 50 years of being a physiotherapist. He has held positions of vice president of the College of physiotherapy in British Columbia, and was at one time, chief examiner for the College of Physiotherapy. He has been a guest lecturer at UBC as a clinical practitioner, and taught in the orthopaedic division across BC. He has now moved to the Okanagan with his lovely wife, Kimberly to enjoy the interiors, climate and opportunity. Michael has an extensive list of hobbies which include playing music, rugby, soccer, skiing. (Ski patrolling) writing , poetry, travel, gardening, and cooking. In his years of exploration he has restored antique vehicles raced his motorcycle at Mission Raceway, scuba dived, and has a pilot license that he no longer uses…sadly. On his days off, you will sometimes see Michael swearing at his golf clubs on local courses. Michael has completed four marathons but his days of long-distance running are over!
